What cookies are

Analytics cookies

When Google Analytics is switched on, it sets cookies to count visits and see which pages people use, so we can improve the site.

_ga: tells visits apart. Kept for up to 2 years.
_ga_*: keeps track of your visit. Kept for up to 2 years.

Advertising cookies

When the Meta pixel is switched on, it sets cookies so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site, and show our ads to people who have visited.

_fbp: links your visit to Meta's advertising. Kept for 90 days.
_fbc: set when you arrive from one of our ads. Kept for 90 days.

When Google Ads conversion tracking is switched on, it sets cookies so we can see which Google ads lead to a call, a WhatsApp message or a quote request.

_gcl_au: links your visit to Google's advertising. Kept for 90 days.
_gcl_aw: set when you arrive from one of our Google ads. Kept for 90 days.

Google Tag Manager loads these tools. It sets no cookies of its own.

WhatsApp, maps and other links

When you tap a WhatsApp, Google Maps or social media link, you leave our site. Those services set their own cookies under their own policies.

How to switch cookies off

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works.
Stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.
Change the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad preferences.
Change the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center.
