Who we are

Sound Ninja is a trading name of B Trading (Pty) Ltd ("we" or "us"). We hire out event technology. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

What you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number and event details (the type of event, your budget, what you need and anything else you tell us) when you send the quote form, call, WhatsApp or email us.
What your browser shares: our analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel) collect information about your visit, like the pages you view, the buttons you tap, your device and browser, and how you reached the site.

Why we use it

To reply to you, prepare a quote and plan the technical side of your event.
To send you information about your booking.
To improve our website and our advertising.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the business, such as our CRM and email providers, our website host, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Crew working on your event, when they need contact details for the day.
Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

We don't sell your personal information.

Information stored outside South Africa

Some of our service providers store data outside South Africa. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to quote, deliver and invoice your event, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records.

Marketing

We only send you marketing messages if you've agreed to receive them, and every message lets you opt out.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Email info@soundninja.co.za. If you're not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Our cookie policy lists the cookies this site can set. Our PAIA manual explains how to ask for the records we hold.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
